Shuttle buses and shuttle boats transport tourists to their hotels or Cruise ships. Taxis are available for nominal rates and may be called via the hotels or from the airport. Most ports have free shuttles for the cruise ship travelers to go shopping. Shuttle boats, Catamarans, Bicycles, horse drawn carriages, bikes, etc are also optional means of transport around Honolulu .
Car hire
Similar to the other cities in USA , taxis are also available in Honolulu and they may be called via hotel addresses or other accommodation locations. Taxi companies will need to know where the traveler is being picked up and where they will be dropped off. This is for the safety of the taxi drivers and the passengers.
